If you usually feel tired and never seem to get enough sleep, the last thing you probably feel like doing is exercising. Indeed, you may feel that an exercise routine will use up what little bit of spare energy you have --- but the complete opposite is true. Regular aerobic exercise will give you more energy and reduce the need for more sleep. If you exercise, you will wake up feeling fresher and have more stamina to cope with everything the day will bring you.

Most of us don't want to run marathons or climb mountains --- we just want to be fit enough to cope with working, playing with the kids, shopping, doing the chores --- and have some energy left over to enjoy ourselves. The following pages will give you realistic ideas for aerobic exercise that you can fit into a busy lifestyle. To begin with, concentrate on getting moving, even if it is for a few minutes a day.
When you rush in from the office or from taking the kids to school, try to resist the temptation to sit down with cup of coffee. Take a glass of pure water instead. Have an energy-boosting banana, put on your favorite music track, and take 30 minutes to get moving with the aerobic exercise. You'll be surprised how quickly the minutes tick by and how much you enjoy yourself. Set the kitchen timer or an alarm clock if you need to know when 30 minutes is up. If you still have energy, go on! Stretch and tone for exercises to improve your flexibility. Add another 10 minutes to make it 40.
You'll find 30 to 40 minutes of exercise makes you feel more energetic physically, mentally, and emotionally. Keep up the effort and you'll soon be looking at stronger, filter, and better you!
